Returns and cancellations

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for most online purchases. Exceptions and rules concerning service contracts are described below.

Notice of withdrawal

You must clearly notify us of the withdrawal within 14 days. Merely returning the goods or failing to collect a shipment is not sufficient. Send the notice to info@powernest.fi and include at least your name, order number, the product being returned and the date of the notice.

For goods, the withdrawal period begins when the goods or the final part of a multi-part order is received. For a service contract, it begins when the contract is concluded.

Returning the goods

The goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the notice of withdrawal. The consumer normally bears the direct return cost unless the goods are defective, incorrect or PowerNest has separately agreed to cover the return.

The return cost of large goods that cannot normally be returned by post, such as pallets of panels, batteries and mounting systems, may be substantial. It depends on the product, freight class and collection address and will be confirmed before return transport is ordered.

Condition of returned goods

You may handle the goods only as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You may be responsible for diminished value if the goods have been handled more than necessary for inspection.

Refunds

We refund payments received without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or you provide evidence of having sent them back. Refunds are normally made using the same payment method as the original transaction.

Limitations to the right of withdrawal

• goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised;
• a service fully performed at the consumer’s express request before the end of the withdrawal period after acknowledging the loss of the right of withdrawal;
• goods permanently installed, commissioned or inseparably combined with other property where a statutory exception applies;
• other exceptions provided by applicable consumer law.

If installation or design work begins at the consumer’s express request during the withdrawal period and the contract is later cancelled, the consumer may be required to pay a reasonable proportionate amount for work already performed.

Defective or incorrect goods

Defective or incorrectly delivered goods are not handled as an ordinary voluntary return. Contact info@powernest.fi so that we can resolve the matter in accordance with applicable law.
